I have been carrying out a lot of tests on various kinds of sensor and once I had found a possible sensor I needed to try it out, hence developing this Non Contact Wall Follower.
Which resistor is best?
This is a graph comparing how the resistor in series with the photo detector affects the voltage read by the micro-controller.
Measuring Acceleration, top speed and deceleration
I have produced a PDF document containing distance-time graphs for this robot. I printed the graphs out and determined the gradient of the straight part of each line to determine the top speed of the robot at different 'Pulse Width Modulation' rates.
