TechFest 2012
I entered two robots into this years competition; Flashy (Wall Follower) and Mr Squeak (Line Follower).
This was the first time that I had entered these robots and they did me proud. I entered the schools Line Follower, Non Contact Wall Follower and Best Described Mouse events. I faced a number of opponents, all of which had worked extremely hard on their robots. I acheived first place in all three events, winning trophies and £50 in vouchers!

Mr Squeak - Line Follower:
This line follower learns the track and goes faster on the second lap. In order to make it look more interesting, I made a mould out of clay and vacuum formed it to create a mouse shaped cover. (Thanks to Mrs Bradshaw and Mr Sandoe for their help).
Flashy - Non Contact Wall Follower
I had spent a lot of time developing this robot, particularly the green sensors, which are clearly visible in the video below. Its acheived first place with a time of 36.49seconds. (the fastest adult acheived a time of 42.95 seconds).
